Stephanie J Strausser
Hi, I’m Stephanie J. Strausser—a RevOps and finance operations leader who helps B2B SaaS teams connect systems, processes, and financial data so they can grow with greater clarity and confidence.
With 20+ years of cross-functional experience across accounting, CRM administration, marketing systems, and process design, I work where growth and operational discipline meet. I build the structure behind revenue: cleaner handoffs, more reliable reporting, scalable automation, and a shared view of performance across marketing, sales, finance, and operations.
My approach is shaped by a simple belief: growth is more durable when CRM, marketing, billing, collections, and financial reporting tell the same story.

How I got here
I started my career in international business — spending over a decade in the Netherlands leading marketing research and strategy work across European markets. That role taught me how to operate across cultures, think in systems, and translate complex data into decisions that actually move the needle. It also gave me a deep appreciation for what breaks down when your processes aren’t built to scale.
When I returned to the U.S., I stepped back from full-time work to care for my family—an experience I’m proud of. I continued investing in my development, earning a Bachelor of Science in Accounting followed by a Master of Science in Marketing from Western Governors University. To me, those disciplines have always been connected: marketing drives revenue, while accounting helps measure, protect, and explain it.
Since then, I’ve been doing the work — building HubSpot systems from scratch, automating AR/AP cycles that used to take days, recovering $218K in aging receivables, and connecting finance, marketing, and operations into one connected operating system at a B2B SaaS company.
What Drives Me
What really energizes me is being the person in the middle who helps departments understand each other and work better together. I’m drawn to the places where things feel disconnected — when CRM data doesn’t match finance reporting, when campaign goals don’t line up with billing realities, or when teams each have their own version of the truth. I enjoy listening for those gaps, asking the right questions, and then quietly building the processes, workflows, and systems that bring everything into alignment. I want to be the person a company can rely on to bridge that disconnect, so teams can focus on their work while knowing the way they operate actually supports the future they’re trying to grow.
Where I’d Love to Contribute
I’m especially interested in revenue operations, finance operations, and cross-functional operational roles where I can help bring more clarity, continuity, and alignment across teams. I do my best work in environments where marketing, finance, systems, and process all need to work together — and where thoughtful operational support can make a real difference in how a company grows.
My Point of View
How I Help Teams Work Better
I help growing teams create dependable revenue systems, clearer handoffs, and a shared operational view—from first touch through cash collection. The work I do best usually lives in the spaces between departments — helping systems connect, creating clearer handoffs, and building the kind of structure that helps growing teams operate with more clarity and less friction. Whether the need is better revenue visibility, stronger marketing operations, cleaner cross-functional processes, or more reliable financial control, I’m most energized when I can help bring those pieces into alignment.
Revenue systems and visibility
I build and refine the systems behind revenue — from HubSpot configuration and lifecycle automation to pipeline design, funnel reporting, and the handoff between CRM and finance.
Marketing workflow and coordination
I help marketing operations run more smoothly through campaign workflows, journey mapping, reporting, automation, and the processes that connect activity to outcomes.
Cross-functional process design
I bring structure to the spaces between teams by improving workflows, documenting SOPs, cleaning up systems, and helping departments work from the same picture.
Financial clarity and control
I strengthen the financial side of growth through reliable billing, collections, reporting, and forecasting support, informed by GAAP, IFRS, and ASC 606 knowledge.
